Gurgen Arsenyan's Reaction to Resigning from Mandate and Ban on Entering Russia

Gurgen Arsenyan, who was elected as an MP on the CPP list, is not rushing to deny the information regarding his resignation from his mandate and the ban on entering Russia. It is noteworthy that this was reported in today's press.

‘Factinfo’ contacted Arsenyan, to which he responded that he cannot answer any questions because he is not in Armenia. When hearing the question of whether he was aware that he was banned from entering Russia, Gurgen Arsenyan disconnected the call.

Additionally, Arsenyan's name was absent from the list of parliamentary delegations. We also attempted to reach out to Arthur Hovhannisyan, the secretary of the CPP faction, to clarify whether they were first aware that Arsenyan was out of the country, and second, how they interpret the decision by Russia to ban the entry of an Armenian MP. Arthur Hovhannisyan did not respond to calls this time as well.
