Armenia Does Not Join CSTO Parliamentary Delegations' Statement Condemning Moscow Terror Attack
The Republic of Armenia has not joined the joint statement by the CSTO parliamentary delegations condemning the terrorist attack in Moscow.
In response to a question from Tert.am, the spokesperson for the Speaker of the National Assembly, Nelly Ghulyan, clarified the reason: "Armenia has not joined. We have suspended our membership in the CSTO. The CSTO made an offer to the Armenian side, which we rejected," Ghulyan noted.
It is noteworthy that parliamentary delegations from member states of the CSTO issued a joint statement condemning the terrorist attack that occurred on March 22 at Crocus City Hall in Moscow. "We, the heads of parliamentary delegations of member states of the CSTO, decisively condemn the terrorist act that took place on March 22, 2024, in the Moscow region, which resulted in numerous casualties among the civilian population," the statement reads.
