Russia's Security Council Secretary Claims Ukraine Behind Crocus City Hall Incident

Ukraine is involved in the terrorist attack that took place at Crocus City Hall, according to Nikolai Patrushev, Secretary of the Russian Security Council. In response to questions about who was responsible for the attack—whether it was the Islamic State terrorist organization or Ukraine—Patrushev stated, "Of course, Ukraine," as reported by the Telegram channel Shot.

It is recalled that on the evening of March 22, a group of armed men opened fire with automatic weapons at Moscow's Crocus City Hall, followed by an explosion and a fire. Reports indicate at least 137 casualties.

The Russian FSB announced that the terrorists who fired on the crowd were detained in the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation, near the border with Ukraine, and were allegedly heading to Ukraine because they "have connections there." Russian President Vladimir Putin commented that a "window" was prepared for the suspects to cross the border into Ukraine.

In contrast, Ukrainian intelligence has stated that Russia's narrative, claiming that the authors of the terrorist act in the Moscow region were fleeing to Ukraine, does not align with reality.
