Any Intervention from Other Countries or 'Great Powers' Escalates the Situation: Iranian Ambassador in Russia
The 3+3 format is the most beneficial mechanism for resolving issues in the region. I hope that a new meeting will take place this year. This was announced by Kazem Jalali, the Iranian ambassador in Russia, during a press conference while responding to a question from a NEWS.ru correspondent.
He recalled that the previous meeting of the advisory platform was held last year in Tehran. "It is important to note that any intervention from other countries or 'great powers' escalates the situation. The presence of other countries hinders the resolution of South Caucasus issues. The six countries in the region—Russia, Turkey, Iran, Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Georgia—are the best experts on the region, not some other countries," stated the Iranian ambassador.
