Video: Terrorists Behind Crocus Attack are Radical Islamists, Says Putin

The terrorist act at the Crocus City Hall concert complex in Krasnogorsk near Moscow was carried out by radical Islamists. This statement was made by Russian President Vladimir Putin during a meeting with intelligence agencies regarding the measures taken after the attack.

“We know who committed this crime against Russia and its people. We are interested in who ordered it. Through the joint efforts of our intelligence services and law enforcement bodies, it is necessary to obtain answers to a number of questions. For example, radical and even terrorist Islamic organizations are genuinely interested in striking Russia, which today advocates for a fair solution to the escalating conflicts in the Middle East,” he stated.

The country leader remarked that the planners of the attack hoped to instill panic and discord within society, but they were met with unity and determination. According to Putin, another question that the special services need to answer is who was awaiting the terrorists on the side of Ukraine.
