Man Stabs Woman's Friend More Than 10 Times in Tbilisi Attack

A terrifying attack on a woman has occurred in Tbilisi. According to Sputnik Georgia, yesterday evening in the Vazisubani district, a man inflicted over 10 stab wounds on the 28-year-old friend of a woman and physically assaulted her.

The victim was admitted to the hospital with broken ribs, a fractured shoulder, wrist and hand injuries, as well as internal injuries. She is currently in the intensive care unit in serious but stable condition.

Authorities reported that the 30-year-old man involved in the attack has been identified and arrested. Prosecutors have charged him with attempted murder, which carries a potential sentence of 10 to 15 years in prison.
