Kyrgyzstan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs Advises Citizens to Avoid Traveling to Russia Without Cause
Kyrgyz authorities have advised citizens to temporarily refrain from traveling to Russia without sufficient reason due to security measures in the Moscow region. This was reported by the press service of Kyrgyzstan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“In connection with the terrorist attack that occurred on March 22, 2024, at the Crocus City Hall concert venue, resulting in numerous casualties and injuries, and the announcement of enhanced security and anti-terrorism measures throughout Russia, the Ministry has advised Kyrgyz citizens to avoid traveling to Russia without necessity until further notice and the cancellation of enhanced security measures and oversight,” the statement emphasized.
The Ministry also recommended that citizens who have already planned a trip to Russia should “check in advance for the presence of entry restrictions into the Russian Federation on the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.”
