Artik's Deputy Mayor Arrested in Bribery Case

The Deputy Mayor of Artik, Artak Harutyunyan, has been arrested for two months. This information was reported to the media by the Anti-Corruption Committee.

Criminal proceedings are being conducted against him within the framework of an investigation carried out by the Anti-Corruption Committee. It has been noted that the deputy mayor was arrested as part of the same case in which charges were previously brought against employees of the Shirak Regional Administration.

There are six individuals being prosecuted in this case, all of whom have been charged with giving and receiving bribes. Three of the accused are currently in custody.
