Putin Has Phone Conversation with Tajik President
The President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, held a phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin and condemned the recent terrorist attack occurring at Crocus City Hall. This information was provided by the press service of the President of Tajikistan.
Rahmon emphasized that terrorists "do not have a nationality, homeland, or religion." Russia and Tajikistan have also confirmed their intention to continue close cooperation in the fight against terrorism, extremism, and manifestations of religious radicalism, which pose a serious threat to security, representatives of Emomali Rahmon stated.
Rahmon expressed solidarity with the Russian people on behalf of Tajik citizens.
It is also noted that earlier, BAZA reported that the vehicles of the alleged criminals were stopped in the Bryansk region, with 2 out of 6 arrested and 4 fleeing. The arrested individuals are citizens of Tajikistan.
However, later the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan called the information regarding the involvement of the Republic's citizens in the Moscow region terrorist act false.
