It Was Obvious That This Was Behavior Characteristic of a Terrorist Act and It Was Neutralized: Deputy Mayor

At this moment, no terrorist group is operating in the police department, reported Yerevan's Deputy Mayor Armen Pambukhchyan to journalists. He mentioned that he has no information regarding who the man armed with a grenade was, only knowing that two individuals are currently in the hospital, and one person was neutralized shortly before.

"I am not aware of what he wanted, but it was obvious that this was behavior characteristic of a terrorist act and it was neutralized. Any individual appearing in a police department with any weapon or explosive materials constitutes a terrorist act according to our criminal code," he stated.
