An eyewitness to the shooting at "Krokus City Hall" reported that he managed to disarm one of the attackers by wresting away his assault rifle. The details of the incident are presented by "Rossiya 24". According to the channel’s interlocutor, he was in the concert hall during the attack and noticed three assailants. He saw a fourth only later, after he went outside and "coldly began shooting people."

"I looked at my wife, saw wild terror in her eyes, and realized that I had to do something. And at the moment when he approached us and began to reload his weapon, I pushed my wife away and ran to his left side," said the witness.

According to him, he took the assault rifle from one of the attackers and then began to strike the gunman on the head. "At that moment, another man ran up to me and also delivered several powerful blows. And we took down the shooter," he said. Details can be found in the video.
