Exclusive Video: How a 17-Year-Old Student from the State College of Informatics Lost His Life

ArmLur.am has obtained a video showing the incidents leading to the death of 17-year-old Rafaël Hovhannisyan, a student of the State College of Informatics. Specifically, on March 12, 2024, around 11:30 AM, Rafaël was near a food point adjacent to the college when 6-7 young individuals, including a 21-year-old, ran towards him.

One of the assailants was armed with a wooden stick, while the 21-year-old had a knife. The 21-year-old stabbed the 17-year-old multiple times in various parts of his body, after which the other assailants continued to kick him while he was on the ground, with the 21-year-old further stabbing him.

According to information reached by ArmLur.am, there are rumors that the two parties had longstanding disagreements concerning a girl, which ultimately led to this tragic incident.

As a reminder, on March 12, at 12:15 PM, the Arabkir department of the National Police received a report from the “Uigmor Clinic” medical center that an ambulance had transported 17-year-old Rafaël H. from Mamigonian Street after he had been stabbed. He succumbed to his injuries shortly after arriving at the hospital.
