The Telegram channel 'Operatively → by HLEP' has published a recording of a missile striking the hydroelectric power station from thermal traps. The video features explicit language. Furthermore, the Zaporizhzhia regional prosecutor's office has released photos of the power station following the shelling. A criminal case has been opened for violating the laws and customs of war.

Earlier, Igor Sirotan, the head of 'Ukrhydroenergo', reported that the DniproHES had been hit directly twice, affecting the HES-1 and HES-2 buildings. The second building has sustained significant damage. It remains unclear whether it can be restored.
