In the Belgorod region, eight shells of the Czech 'Vampir' Multiple Launch Rocket System have been shot down by air defense measures. The information was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
“On March 22, at around 07:30 Moscow time, an attempt to carry out a terrorist attack using the 'Vampir' system by the Kyiv regime against the Russian Federation was thwarted. With the help of air defense duty resources, eight rocket shells were destroyed in the airspace of the Belgorod region,” the statement said.
According to Telegram channels, one woman has died as a result of one of the rocket hits, and three others have been injured. Several vehicles are on fire. One of the shells struck a maternity hospital, shattering windows and partially damaging the facade of the building.
