Russia Nearly Completes Military Port Construction in Georgian Ochamchire

The Russian Federation has nearly completed the construction of a military port in Ochamchire, located within Georgian territory, according to Ukrainian media reports.

In Abkhazia, the Russians plan to position warships at the site. Construction is ongoing.

The port itself is situated 30 km away from the border with areas controlled by Georgia. The Georgian opposition expresses concern that the port could be used in the war against Ukraine, which may make it a legitimate target for the Ukrainian armed forces.
