What Will Mkhitaryan Do After His Career? The Footballer Has Opened Up

The former captain of the Armenian national team and Inter Milan midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan has stated that he does not intend to become a coach after ending his sports career. He shared this information during an episode of the YouTube channel FROG TALKS.

"I have no desire to become a football coach. I have spent quite enough time on the field. Coaching requires much more time as well as analysis and discussions with players. So, I don’t want that. Perhaps a sports director," said the 35-year-old midfielder.

Mkhitaryan also noted that after retiring, he plans to stay in Milan until his son grows up and decides whether he wants to play football or not. "If he wants to become a player, then we will stay in Milan; otherwise, we will return to Armenia," said Henrikh.

It is worth noting that Henrikh Mkhitaryan has been playing for Inter Milan since 2022, and his contract with the club has been extended until 2025.
