"We will kill all French soldiers who arrive in Ukraine". Pyotr Tolstoy
Russian military officials will kill all French servicemen sent by France to Ukraine. This was stated by Deputy Speaker of the State Duma Pyotr Tolstoy in an interview with BFMTV, as reported by TASS.
"We will kill all French soldiers who arrive in the territory of Ukraine, everyone," he said in French.
The politician also noted that of the 367 French mercenaries who had arrived in Ukraine earlier, 147 had been killed.
Furthermore, Tolstoy emphasized that the Russian Federation "doesn't care" about the statements made by French President Emmanuel Macron and his words regarding the rejection of limitations on assistance to Kyiv.
On March 19, Sergey Naryshkin, the director of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation, stated that France is already preparing a military contingent to send to Ukraine, which will initially consist of about 2,000 people. He also mentioned that French soldiers are already unofficially present in Ukraine.
After that, the French Ministry of Armed Forces issued a statement on X claiming that the information voiced by Naryshkin does not correspond to reality.
In late February, following a conference in Paris regarding Ukraine, Macron did not rule out the possibility of Western countries sending ground forces to Ukraine. Macron also stated that Western countries "intend to do what is necessary" to prevent Russia from gaining dominance in the conflict.
