Video: Is there any concern that medication prices may rise? Journalist questions Avanesyan

Julya

After the implementation of the electronic prescription system in Armenia, the influx of questions has decreased significantly this week. This was stated by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Armenia, Anahit Avanesyan, during a conversation with reporters after a government meeting.

“The influx of questions has significantly decreased, and this week we see that everything is functioning much more calmly and without issues. Your alerts are very important for us to identify existing problems and provide urgent solutions to move forward,” said Andreasyan.

According to him, people need time to adapt, and this is a very normal process.

When asked if there are any concerns that medication prices might rise, Avanesyan stated that there is no such thing. She explained that previously, the cost of printing the paper prescription averaged 8 drams, which won’t be the case anymore, meaning that costs are decreasing rather than increasing.
