VIDEO: "Avinyan has turned the underpass into Lake Yerevan 2" - Arthur Chakhoyan

I am near the underpass by the Covered Market, renovated by Tigran Avinyan, on which the Yerevan Municipality has spent about 50 million drams. Tigran Avinyan is responsible for this poorly constructed underpass, which violates standards. This was stated by activist and blogger Arthur Chakhoyan during a live broadcast on his Facebook page.

“State funds are being squandered like this,” the activist says. He also displayed the elevator-ramp, noting that it is not operational.

“Within a month, during the rainy weather, this newly constructed underpass has been damaged twice. Now the underpass is submerged in water. Avinyan has turned the underpass into Lake Yerevan 2. The Yerevan Municipality is once again proving that it is incapable of doing anything other than receiving bonuses and engaging in corruption. They have done a shoddy job. The plaster is falling off, and it is still leaking from above,” Chakhoyan states.
