The state leader emphasized that when Putin loses, the democratic world will have a "good perspective for the upcoming generation."

"We must be resilient to various challenges, we need to be forward-looking in order to defeat Putin, rather than find ourselves in a situation where doubts about the strength of the West aid this madman," Zelensky stressed.

He also mentioned that he met with U.S. President Joe Biden's National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan.

"It was a very meaningful, very specific conversation about both defense cooperation and the joint political outcomes we need to achieve. I thank America for its support of our state and people, and it is vital for American leadership to remain strong in protecting the international legal order," the president added.
