Mitsubishi Truck Crashes into Steel Barrier, Overturns; Injuries Reported

On March 21, at 13:46, the Shirak Regional Rescue Service's Crisis Management Center received information about a traffic accident near the village of Pemzashen, indicating a fuel leak and the need for rescue assistance.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that a firefighting and rescue team from the regional rescue department was dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that at the 4th kilometer of the Artik-Pemzashen highway, a Mitsubishi truck (driver: A.H., born in 1968) collided with a steel safety barrier and overturned.

Before the arrival of the rescuers, the driver and a passenger, K.A. (born in 2002), were extricated from the vehicle and hospitalized at a medical center.

The rescuers disconnected the vehicle from the power supply, cordoned off the area, and conducted road cleaning operations.
