The former president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation, Luis Rubiales, whose case is currently under investigation, intends to return to Spain from the Dominican Republic, where he is currently located, on April 6.

The investigation is related to possible illegal contracts involving Spain's Supercup in Saudi Arabia. Rubiales has vowed to cooperate with the inquiry.

On Wednesday, his residence in Granada, the office in Las Rozas (Madrid province), the Olympic Stadium in Seville, and nine other locations were raided as part of an investigation into potential illegal contracts over the past five years. The Spanish police have arrested at least seven individuals.
