Discussion on Pathways for Triangular Cooperation to Support Armenia's Development

A meeting will take place in Brussels on April 5th between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, and U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, during which the pathways for triangular cooperation aimed at supporting Armenia's development will be discussed.

This was reported in an interview with Aravot by the Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan. In response to a question regarding the joint statement made during the Pashinyan-von der Leyen meeting in Granada on October 5, 2023, in which President von der Leyen informed Prime Minister Pashinyan about preparations for a joint EU-U.S. event to support Armenia, Grigoryan noted, "Not only has there been progress, but the date for the event has also been set. On April 5th, a joint meeting between President von der Leyen, Prime Minister Pashinyan, and Secretary Blinken is planned in Brussels, where pathways for triangular cooperation that would aid Armenia's development will be discussed. The event also aims to strengthen Armenia's resilience."

More details about the event will be available in the near future.
