Daylight in the Northern Hemisphere Will Exceed Nighttime Duration: Surenyan

Today marks the vernal equinox and the first day of astronomical spring. Gagik Surenyan, the deputy director of the Hydro-meteorological and Monitoring Center, made this announcement on his Facebook page.
“Starting tomorrow, the duration of daylight in the Northern Hemisphere will be longer than that of nighttime,” he wrote.
