Annual Military Cooperation Program Between Armenia and Italy Signed in Rome
From March 19-20, defense consultations between Armenia and Italy took place in Rome. The Armenian delegation was led by Levon Ayvazyan, the head of the Defense Policy and International Cooperation Department of the Armenian Ministry of Defense.
During the consultations, the Armenian delegation discussed the progress and development prospects of military cooperation with General Enrico Barduani, Deputy Chief of Staff to the Italian Minister of Defense, and Colonel Mattia Zuzi, Head of the International Cooperation Division at the General Staff.
Levon Ayvazyan presented the current security situation surrounding Armenia and the ongoing reforms in the Armed Forces.
At the conclusion of the consultations, an annual military cooperation program between Armenia and Italy was signed, along with several agreements.
