This All Reminds of Open Blackmail: Putin

During an expanded meeting of the Security Federal Service (FSB) college, Russian President Vladimir Putin referred to the statements made by Western politicians regarding the possibility of terrorist attacks in Russia as open blackmail. This was reported by TASS.

According to the President, the Ukrainian authorities, often acting on direct instructions from their Western partners, resort to terrorist methods. He clarified that such methods aim to intimidate and destabilize Russian society.

“I would also like to remind you of the recent provocations. The statements from several Western official structures regarding the possibility of terrorist attacks in Russia resemble open blackmail and show an intention to scare our society and destabilize it,” Putin stated.

Prior to that, Putin had mentioned that the defense of sovereignty is the main guarantee for the fulfillment of the tasks facing Russia. He added that the Russian people expect maximum focus, high dedication, and effective actions from all employees of the country’s special services.
