VIDEO: Two Border Crossings with Germany Blocked by Polish Farmers

Polish farmers have blocked two major border crossings with Germany today, protesting against EU environmental regulations and the import of agricultural products from outside the EU.

The farmers have long been blocking border crossings with Ukraine, asserting that imports from the neighboring country threaten their livelihoods, and on Monday, they extended their protest to the western border.

Tractors from the farmers are parked on the A2 highway, where traffic is closed in both directions. The blockade at the Swiecko and Kopenik border crossings will continue until Wednesday evening, according to local police reports.
