Peskov Clarifies Putin's Remarks on Navalny's Exchange

Russian President Vladimir Putin has not confirmed the fact of negotiations regarding the exchange of Alexei Navalny. This was stated by the press secretary of the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov.

The Kremlin representative explained that Putin was referring to a proposed idea that he agreed with. It is worth recalling that earlier, Vladimir Putin had stated that he had agreed to the exchange of Alexei Navalny.

Putin noted that he had only agreed to one condition: that Navalny would never return to Russia after the exchange.
