North Korea Fires 3 Ballistic Missiles Towards the Sea of Japan
North Korea has launched three ballistic missiles toward the Sea of Japan, which reportedly fell outside Japan's exclusive economic zone, according to the Kyodo news agency, citing Japan's Ministry of Defense and Coast Guard.
The missiles traveled approximately 350 km at an altitude of 50 m. They were fired about 30 minutes apart, the Japanese Coast Guard reported. Each missile flight lasted about seven minutes.
Japan's Prime Minister Fumio Kishida told reporters that North Korea's missile launch was unacceptable, as reported by Reuters.
