The governor of the Samara region, Dmitry Azarov, reported that drones attempted to strike two oil refineries in the region—one in Sizran and the other in Novokuibyshevsk. According to him, there are no casualties or injuries.

A fire broke out at the Sizran oil refinery. "Following the drone strike, a fire has occurred at the Sizran oil products refinery. Preliminary reports indicate that there are no casualties," the governor told reporters.

He added that the attack on the Novokuibyshev oil refinery was repelled. The governor confirmed that there were also no casualties or injuries there.

Earlier, the Sizran city administration reported that a fire had occurred in the refinery area, covering an area of 500 square meters.
