The Issue of Religion is a National Security Concern for Kazakhstan, Says Kassym-Jomart Tokayev

Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has stated that the issue of religion is a matter of national security for the republic, emphasizing that the authorities will not allow foreign religious movements to influence the minds of young people. This was reported by TASS.

“To be honest, the issue of religion is a national security issue; we must not allow various movements from abroad to poison the minds of young people. We must preserve our traditions and educate a conscious generation,” said Tokayev.
