Gunshots Heard in Yerevan: Injuries Reported
On March 14, gunshots were reported in Yerevan. At around 00:20, the police department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received a call from the 1-03 emergency services, informing them that a team of doctors was dispatched to 6 Fuchik Street, where they discovered injured individuals and traces of blood. The website reports that police and patrol officers at the scene found a large number of spent cartridges from various types of firearms, fragments of an exploded grenade, traces of blood, and vehicles damaged by gunfire, including one belonging to a member of parliament, which showed signs of being shot at.
It was confirmed that two individuals were transported from the scene to various hospitals in Yerevan. Medical staff at the hospital informed police and investigators that the injured individuals were unable to provide an explanation of the incident as they were undergoing surgery.
