Video: Strong Explosion Occurs in Tbilisi Apartment Building, Residents Evacuated
A powerful explosion occurred in an apartment building on Samtredia Street in Tbilisi. It is reported that 93 families live at this address. The explosion took place in the first-floor event hall, which was recently undergoing renovation and was not in operation.
Preliminary reports suggest the cause of the explosion was a gas leak. The explosion was so strong that the blast wave shattered the windows of neighboring apartments. There are no reported casualties or injuries, and residents have been evacuated. Authorities have provided accommodation in hotels for 53 individuals.
