Fire Erupts in Armavir City, 15 Residents Evacuated

A fire has broken out in one of the apartments in Armavir city. Rescuers have evacuated 15 residents from the building, reported the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations.

"On March 14, at 13:16, a call was received at the Armavir regional crisis management center reporting a fire in an apartment located at 8A Sayat-Nova Street in Armavir," the statement said.

Two firefighting units arrived at the scene. It was determined that the fire had erupted in the living room of the apartment (approximately 20 square meters).

The fire was contained by 13:33 and extinguished by 13:56. The living room and its furnishings were damaged by the flames.
