VIDEO: How Members of a Criminal Group Comprised of Armenian Citizens are Arrested in Russia
Footage has been released showing how employees of the Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia arrest members of a criminal group comprised of Armenian citizens in Chekhov. This group was involved in the production and sale of synthetic drugs.
The operational video reveals how FSB officers scale a fence to enter the portion of a private house, after which they arrest the first suspect in the garage.
Earlier reports stated that an operation was conducted to halt the activities of a criminal group specializing in the production of synthetic drugs within the territory of the Chekhov city district in Moscow province, comprising citizens of the Republic of Armenia.
“Three citizens of the Republic of Armenia were arrested at the location of the narcolab, with at least 86 kg of mephedrone seized, along with laboratory equipment and various chemical substances,” the public relations center noted.
It has been clarified who the members of the criminal group are. The FSB’s investigative department has initiated a criminal case under part 5 of Article 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (production of particularly large quantities of drugs). They have been detained.
The FSB has reminded that part 5 of Article 228.1 stipulates a penalty of up to life imprisonment.
