Driver with Gold License Plate Attacks Gas Station Employees in Tavush with Friends, Injuries Reported

On March 9, a brawl occurred in the Tavush region. According to SHAMSHYAN.com, around 00:35, operational information was received at the Tavush Regional Department of the Police of the Republic of Armenia that a group of individuals was involved in a fight at the gas station located on Tbilisi highway in Dilijan city.

As reported by photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, shortly after, the Dilijan Medical Center informed that they had admitted a citizen from the mentioned address for medical assistance. It was revealed that Police Officer Asatryan and Junior Officer Ellaryan, while on duty in the Tavush regional battalion's 2nd platoon, noticed about 10 individuals engaged in a brawl near the waiting area of the gas station at 14 Tbilisi Highway in Dilijan, exchanging sexual insults.

During this time, the officers attempted to disperse the participants in the brawl, and among them, 29-year-old Vilen G. from Yerevan was transported to the Dilijan Medical Center.

The police and patrol officers выяснили that 25-year-old Marine Sh. from Kotayk region approached the gas station with friends, including 34-year-old Nikolay P., 24-year-old Marianna K., and Vilen G. for shopping purposes, where a dispute arose between them and the gas station employees, escalating into a fight.

According to G. Shamshyan’s information, driver Marine Sh., passengers Nikolay P., Marianna K., and Vilen G. were not in a sober state at the time of the incident. A criminal case has been initiated at the Investigation Department of Dilijan regarding the incident, and the Mercedes vehicle with the license plate "77, 777" has been moved to a specially protected area of the Dilijan Police Department by the investigator's order.
