Around 8 Hours of Search Conducted at Vardazaryan's Residence, Filmed: 'Haykakan Zhamanak'
Details have emerged regarding the search of the former president of the Supreme Judicial Council, Ruben Vardazaryan’s residence. This was reported by the newspaper ‘Haykakan Zhamanak’.
Specifically, around 9:30 AM, four employees from the Anti-Corruption Committee arrived at his home and began the search. They confiscated phones, computers belonging to the members of Vardazaryan's household, and according to our sources within the committee, the entire search was filmed. The search, which started early in the morning, concluded at 5:00 PM. Thus, after nearly 8 hours of searching Vardazaryan’s residence, private house, and garage, law enforcement did not find the desired recordings.
It should be noted that yesterday in the Anti-Corruption Court, Ruben Vardazaryan refused to provide any information about the search of his house, only mentioning that what they were looking for was not found.
Recall that on June 20, 2022, Ruben Vardazaryan published a controversial recording at a press conference, which substantiated that the acting president of the Supreme Judicial Council, Gagik Jhanghiryans, attempted to coerce Vardazaryan to resign from his position as president of the Council.
