Fatal Pedestrian Accident in Yerevan: 'VAZ' Hits Pedestrian, Victim Dies on the Way to Hospital

Today, March 12, a fatal pedestrian accident occurred in Yerevan. Around 8:50 PM, 23-year-old Robert G. driving a 'VAZ 2121' vehicle struck a pedestrian on Khandjian Street, approximately 200 meters from the overpass towards Arshakuniats Avenue. According to Shamshyan, the driver did not flee the scene and instead assisted the emergency medical responders who arrived promptly to transport the victim to the hospital.

While police were carrying out their duties at the scene, a call was received from the Armenia Medical Center informing the Central Police Division that the pedestrian, not regaining consciousness, had died.
