I Won't Allow Countries to Abandon the Dollar: Trump

Former U.S. President Donald Trump stated that he does not like it when countries abandon the dollar. In an interview with CNBC, he said, “I wouldn’t allow countries to abandon the dollar because the loss of that standard would be as significant for our country as losing a war. We cannot allow this to happen. Too many countries are trying to get rid of the dollar.”

Trump also declared that as president, he would not fight against cryptocurrencies. At the same time, he referred to himself as a traditionalist regarding currencies.
