U.S. President Joe Biden recently stated in an interview that he did not actually confuse Ukraine with Afghanistan; he simply recognized that the U.S. was disgraced when it came to aiding the Ukrainian authorities. This was noted by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, on her Telegram channel. The information is reported by gazeta.ru.

“It is being reported that ‘Biden confused Ukraine with Afghanistan.’ He did not confuse them; he can no longer restrain what everyone understands. The United States has been bloodily disgraced regarding the Ukrainian project,” Zakharova stated.

Recall that during an interview with MSNBC, the U.S. President mentioned how the U.S. captured Osama bin Laden and invaded Iraq and Afghanistan. However, initially, instead of naming the two countries, Biden referred to Ukraine, after which he quickly corrected himself.
