Biden Confuses Ukraine with Afghanistan and Iraq

U.S. President Joe Biden made a mistake in an interview with MSNBC, confusing Ukraine with Afghanistan and Iraq. "America made a mistake. We were hunting bin Laden until we got him. But at the same time, we shouldn't have gone into Ukraine. That is, we shouldn't have gone into Iraq and Afghanistan. We have captured the former leader of the banned terrorist organization 'Al-Qaeda' in Russia, Osama bin Laden," Biden said.

The U.S. president has not been without slips in his statements before. For example, he confused Gaza and Ukraine on two occasions while talking about delivering humanitarian aid from the air to the Palestinian territory. "In the coming days, we plan to join our friends in Jordan and other countries to deliver additional food and supplies to Ukraine by air and will seek to continue to open up other routes to Ukraine, including the possibility of establishing a maritime corridor to deliver large amounts of humanitarian aid," Biden stated.

Later, the president indicated that he meant Gaza without acknowledging his mistake. He then added that the aid currently provided to the region is insufficient.
