American Abrams Tanks Participate in NATO Exercises in Poland
American-made Abrams tanks have been deployed during NATO exercises in Poland, the Polish Armaments Agency announced on Saturday.
According to the statement, the Abrams tank platoon from the 1st Tank Brigade in Warsaw has moved to the "Dragon-24" exercise.
The first batch of American Abrams tanks was delivered to Poland at the end of last year, featuring uranium shielding and the M1A1FEP variant.
Along with the Baltic countries and Germany, Poland is hosting the Steadfast Defender-2024 exercises, which take place from January to May. Approximately 90,000 troops, nearly 50 ships, 80 aircraft, and 1,100 units of ground military equipment, including 133 tanks, are involved in the exercises.
