Ukraine to Spend Nearly $4 Million to Block Russian and Belarusian TV and Radio Signals
The Ukrainian authorities intend to block television and radio signals from Russia, Transnistria, and Belarus in nine regions of the country. This was reported by RT.
"The Cabinet of Ministers has decided to allocate 152 million hryvnias (over $3.9 million) from the state budget reserve fund for the installation of systems that will block anti-Ukrainian television and radio broadcasts in border areas," the publication states.
It was noted that these funds will be used for the purchase and installation of signal blocking systems coming from Belarus, Russia, and Transnistria.
