Medvedev Comments on Explosion During Zelensky's Arrival

The Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, has commented on reports of an alleged strike on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's convoy in Odesa, stating on his Telegram channel that if such a goal had been set, it would have been executed.

Earlier, the American news channel CNN, citing its source, reported that the explosion in Odesa occurred 500 meters away from Zelensky's convoy and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis' motorcade.

The Russian Ministry of Defense, for its part, announced that the Russian armed forces carried out a precision missile strike on a hangar in Odesa, where motor boats of the Ukrainian armed forces were preparing without supervision.

“Everything is obvious to everyone. The fact that there was no attack on the convoy in Odesa, and that if the target had been set, they would have struck,” Medvedev wrote.

“And the fact that the bloody clown is just a shadow of his master, a blind anti-Russian weapon, is fundamentally irrelevant to who holds the position of the leader of the neo-Nazi regime. But it still is somewhat annoying. It’s a pity that they definitely showed up at a pre-planned location,” Medvedev added.
