Light Snow, Rain, and Fog: Road Conditions and Regional Situations

As of March 7, at 16:00, light snow is falling in the regions of Akhuryan, Artik, Hrazdan, Sevan, Dilijan, and the area known as "Zanger" in Sisian, while rain is observed in the regions of Tavush, Vayk, and Meghri. This information is reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Emergency Situations Department.

In the regions of Hrazdan and Sevan, fog has reduced visibility to 15-20 meters. Due to snowfall and low visibility, the Vardenyats mountain pass is difficult to navigate for vehicles with trailers (use of snow chains is recommended).

All inter-state and republican highways are open. Road construction teams are conducting cleaning and salt-sand treatment work on the roads.
