EU to Impose New Sanctions Against Russia: Bloomberg
Julya
The European Union may impose new sanctions against Russia in connection with the death of opposition leader Alexei Navalny. The restrictions could extend to numerous officials, judges, and staff members linked to IK-3 (the facility where Navalny died). This was reported by Bloomberg, citing a draft document.
In total, the future list of sanctions may include 35 individuals and two legal entities. Sanctions may also apply to employees of IK-6 prison, where Navalny was serving his sentence prior to his transfer to IK-3.
It is worth recalling that Alexei Navalny passed away on February 16 in the special regime IK-3 'Polar Wolf' colony located in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug.
