Zakhrova Calls German Officers Discussing Crimean Bridge Attack Fools

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, labeled German officers discussing the attack on the Crimean Bridge as fools, pointing out their aggressive nationalist mindset and determination to destroy civilian objects.

“When these fools discuss how they will undermine the Kerch Bridge, as it is called by the residents of Kerch or the Crimean Bridge, they should remember their atrocities and those of their country, which, as we can see, the germ of Nazism is still alive. They still need to repent and atone for the crimes of their past, they still need to pray for the memory of their dead throughout their lives,” the diplomat said during a press conference within the framework of the World Youth Festival.

In this context, Zakharova recalled the crimes of Nazi units that, upon entering Kerch, carried out the massacre of students of school No. 245 named after V.G. Korolenko. “A normal person cannot admit that what was done to the children is possible; they were taken several kilometers away from the city and their bodies were thrown into a trench where already seven thousand residents of Kerch were,” said the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

Addressing the international community and, first of all, the German authorities, she drew attention to the fact that in recent decades, Russia has not placed the responsibility of a number of countries for global crimes during World War II “on the front lines of developing relations.” “How have they responded? They have again responded with this nationalist aggressive mindset—to undermine a civil bridge,” noted Zakharova.

“Moreover, they know very well—and this comes from this film—that this is not a military facility and it has great social and political significance,” she continued. “[The Crimean Bridge] has truly become a symbol of hope for people, that they will overcome this nationalist germ that has once again been imposed on them in recent decades by the Kyiv regime.”

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry expressed confidence that these Bundeswehr representatives are “limited and poorly educated” and do not even realize “what we have been through and are going through with all these trials, what is driving us, and what values we are fighting for here.” “They have a philosophy and ideology that dehumanizes people,” she added.
