According to the source, Hungary is expected to transfer the protocol for Sweden's accession to NATO to the United States on March 7. If Sweden promptly submits its membership documents, it could become a full member of the alliance within the next two days.

Earlier, on March 5, Hungarian President Tamas Schuyok signed the ratification of Sweden’s accession to NATO on his first day in office.
