Peskov on Yerevan's Decision to Withdraw Russian Border Guards from Zvartnots

The Russian Federation is not aware of any decision regarding the withdrawal of Russian border guards from Yerevan’s Zvartnots Airport, and work is ongoing in all directions. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary for the Russian president. The information is reported by TASS.

“As for the border guards at Zvartnots, as far as we understand, there have been no decisions on this issue, and no one has conveyed such decisions to us through official channels. We are working in all directions, both within the frameworks of the CIS and the EAEU, as well as at the level of bilateral relations,” he said.
