Baku and Moscow Relations Have Reached a New Qualitative Level: Aliyev

The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, met with the Prime Minister of Russia, Mikhail Mishustin.

“We have preserved the goodwill that has united our peoples for decades, and regardless of the socio-political formations in which we have interacted, the friendly ties between our nations have always been the foundation of interstate relations. Today, when interstate relations have reached a qualitatively new level, it is natural that this is also maintained by the societies of our countries,” said Aliyev during a meeting with Mishustin in Baku.

He expressed confidence that both 2023 and the current year will bring good results within the framework of bilateral relations.

“This is also an important factor for regional stability and security,” Aliyev noted.
